Biography
Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele-Bello was born on 24 August 1977 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. She studied Law at the University of Lagos and later studied Drama at the same university. She rose to fame with the hit television series Jenifa's Diary, which she created, produced, and starred in, and became one of the most recognisable faces in Nollywood.
She has produced and starred in numerous films and series, including Omo Ghetto: The Saga, one of the highest-grossing Nollywood films. She has won multiple Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards and has used her platform to support women in entertainment and business.
