Abike Dabiri-Erewa

Biography
Abike Dabiri-Erewa was born on 12 October 1962 in Lagos, Nigeria. She worked as a journalist and broadcaster at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) before entering politics. She was elected to the House of Representatives and served as Chair of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs. In 2019 she was appointed Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), which works to engage the Nigerian diaspora in national development.
She has been a vocal advocate for the rights and welfare of Nigerians abroad, for accountability in government, and for women's participation in politics and public service.
